Chart Changes

Introduction

This script modifies user pages on Last.fm to add chart change information.

Installation

Get your archive charts stored for longer: Subscribe by making a one off payment of £2 (GBP or the equivalent in your local currency) via PayPal. My email address is andrew at indiegigs dot co dot uk (replace dot with . and at with @). Or you can buy me something from my Amazon Wish List.

If you subscribe by Pay Pal please include the Last.fm username who's charts you want extended. If you choose Amazon please drop me an email. Subscribing will not make old charts appear immediately, it will take 60 days from the time you are marked as a subscriber by me for you to see the full benefit.

Please remember that this is purely voluntary and the only benefit is that your charts are archived for 90 days rather than 30.

If the script doesn't work for you then please email me as 'andrew at indiegigs dot co dot uk'. To help me identify bugs, please follow the guidelines below.

Changing Styles

The chart changes script now lets you select how you want the changes to be displayed. You can select from the usual Last.fm style, a coloured Last.fm style or the classic look. Simply go Tools -> Greasemonkey -> User Script Commands and select the style.

Reporting Bugs

When emailing me about bugs, please do the following. See if the script works on my userpage. If it doesn't then email me with your Firefox/Greasemonkey version numbers, what you see if anything. It would also help if you attached the HTML of my user page. Simple go File->Save As in Firefox and attach that to your email. If my user page does work then email me with the URL, your Firefox/Greasemonkey version numbers, what you see if anything and the HTML of the page as an attachment.

Installing the Firebug extension and letting me know the error message will also greatly help.
